One Agent

A single agent is installed on recent versions of the Windows operating system to implement Device Hardening, Forced Centralization, Application Access Controls, Automatic Cloud Backup, Remote Application Access, VPN Client, USB Control, Email Vigilance, Internet Controls, and Productivity Monitoring.

One Service

The single service console is available to configure the agents for enterprise policies, application controls, VPN Server, Application Virtualization, file/folder permission, user management, retrieving deleted data, identifying the user who deleted data, file operations logs, versioning of backup, the status of cloud backup, enforce USB policy, email vigilance, and Internet restrictions.

One Cloud

The single Cloud offers storage for files, applications, email, and backup of all three data types. This cloud storage offers an enterprise-wide pool of storage space and works without creating silos for application, file, and email data.

Overview of the Features

Device Hardening

The Agent hardens the Windows device by withdrawing admin rights from the users, restricting the applications the user can use, defining which Windows device the user can access, and forcing the users to store data at a specific location on the network, Cloud, or offline folder.

Blind VPN

The Agent acts as a VPN client, and Cloud Console acts as a VPN server to ensure all the communication is secured. BLACKbox uses blind VPN technology, not requiring the user to know the VPN connection credentials. Such technology enables the enterprise to allow users to connect to its network only from specific Windows computers.

Application Controls

The cloud console lets the enterprise specify which user should use which specific applications. The Agent inherits the policy configuration and limits the user to use allowed applications only. If a user is configured to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and tally, the Agent will allow access to only these applications even though more applications are installed on the user's PC.

File Server

The BLACKbox One Cloud provides a full-fledged file server on the Cloud with a permission engine on Files/Folders. The Agent also loads the specific shared cloud drives permitted access by a specific user or a group of users.

Active Recycle Bin

It is always challenging when many users access a shared folder on Cloud, and someone deletes the data. Enterprise needs to recover the deleted data and identify the user who deleted the data. BLACKbox One Cloud is equipped with Active Recycle Bin which captures the deleted data on the network or Cloud and logs who deleted it.

Automatic Backup

The Agent also functions as a cloud backup agent. It automatically takes the backup of the BLACKbox offline folder from the user's system. The Cloud service provides an elaborate dashboard to check the backup status.

USB Controls

The Agent also functions as an endpoint control Agent, enabling the enterprise to control USB on the user's Windows computer. BLACKbox Cloud One makes all USB ports of connected Windows computers "smart." Enterprise can define policy on USB usage for keyboards, Mouse, and printers and deny usage of USB by pen drives, hard drives, and mobile phones on USB. It can also define a policy that data can be brought into the enterprise network over USB but cannot be taken out on USB. It can also define a policy where entrusted users can take data out on USB, but a report is generated and sent to designated users for evidence.

Email Vigilance

BLACKbox One Cloud is a full-fledged mail server with innovative email shadowing technology. Usually, users use an email client in which emails are stored as pst or such files, or they can use the BLACKbox OneCloud webmail service. BLACKbox One Cloud acts as a full-fledged mail server that shadows every email coming in or going out from itself, too, user-wise and date-wise. So, if the user finds a corrupt pst or such file, the admin can restore all in-out emails in minutes. When emails are routed through BLACKbox OneCloud, the enterprise can vigil the emails under numerous vigilance policies.

Happy Hours for Data Leakage Prevention

BLACKbox Cloud One acts as a firewall for your network and controls internet usage for users. Admin can define internet policies for each user. It also works on the concept of happy hours, giving users full internet access during happy hours. Still, it simultaneously isolates enterprise data so it cannot be infiltrated on the internet.

Productivity Monitoring

BLACKbox OneCloud can capture the screens of every Windows computer and store them for months for playback in the future. If an enterprise suspects any fraud on a specific computer and wants to play back what happened weeks or months ago, it can do it. This empowers enterprises with the capability to investigate any fraud.
